Portugal - Bandidos de Cante

Those harmonies are gorgeous! Like a Portuguese Fisherman’s Friends. I don’t know what the song is about, but I can definitely imagine a bunch of people fishing on the pier and singing this. It sounds sweet.

First of all - this is very refreshing to hear amid this rather techno- and effect-heavy decade. This reminds me of Latvia 2007 in a way, but without the overdone operatic Il Volo-cloning. And Deslocado (Portugal 2025), of course.

However, I don't think it will hold up against the mere wall of other entries this year. It is a great piece of music, yes, but I doubt it will stand out.

And there's another thing keeping me from giving a higher score: the arrangement of the harmonised parts does not make any sense to me.
